How long is each session?
Fifty minutes.
How often will I need to come?
Usually once a week for as many weeks as you require.
How many sessions?
I usually suggest starting with six weeks and reviewing your needs towards the end of that time. However, you may come for as many or as few sessions as you like.
Will everything I tell you be confidential?
Yes, with certain exceptions. The main ones are:
- As an NCPS member, I attend regular supervision to discuss my work. The content of a supervision session is confidential, and I do not use my clients' names or obvious identifying details.
- There are certain legal and ethical reasons to break confidentiality where someone is at risk of harm (these include child abuse, terrorism, drug dealing/money laundering).
